12.19.04 (6:17 pm) [edit]This was the first painting I ever painted. I did it about one year ago, I can't remember exactly when! What does it mean to you?

Oh, and to answer your question, the painting seems to capture life. everything on the page is existing on there own, but I can see, for instance, how the tree is relying on the ground below and the sky above, to stay alive.

Amber - Hey! Thanks for all your comments, they are very sweet and encouraging! Yeah, the pic felt good to paint. I liked mixing real feelings with a fantastical look.

Umm, Thanks :) The artistic sense runs through my family. My Grandma, Mom and sister are all fAnTaStIc artists. I am the least of them all. Really! But I looked at your site, you have a LOT of fabulous, creative artwork, poems, etc. I'll keep checking it out for inspiration and ideas!!!

I remember you painting this in TJ. There's a lot of feeling behind it. It's hard to say exactly what it means to me- there's fire in the sk, yet a familiarity to it all, a sense of movement, like the wind, and healing. And I love what you do w/ colors.

I FREAKING LOVE THAT PAINTING!
i so wish i could paint like that. luckyyy......
there seems to be a sense of mending, healing. and then that tree just seems so solid and substancial, but yet still relying on the ground below and the light from the sky above. wow....
